Rental FAQs

Persons occupying a vacation condominium must include an occupant who is at least 23 years of age. Reservations must also be in the name of someone 23 years of age or older.

In the event of a cancellation, refund of your deposit will be made except for a $40.00 cancellation fee, providing that notice of the cancellation is received 30-days or more in advance of your confirmed arrival date. If the cancellation occurs within 30-days of your arrival date, all monies will be forfeited, unless travel insurance was purchased and the reason for the cancellation is covered by travel insurance.

Check-in time is after 4:00PM unless you purchase an early arrival at least a week prior to arrival. Check-out time is before 10:00AM. Our housekeeping staff depends on your timely departure in order to prepare for our next guest.

In order to secure your reservation, we require a deposit equal to 25% of the total charges. Reservations must be paid in full 60-days prior to arrival. Any reservations booked less than 60 days prior to arrival with require payment in full at time of booking.

Myrtle Beach Resort HOA is charging a daily gate fee of $10 per day per vehicle starting 1/1/2026 for up to 2 vehicles maximum per condo. Gate Fees are payable at the Security Gate before entering the resort, it is credit or debit card only no cash. 
Rates and policies can change from year to year. Please review the terms and conditions for the current year's policies. Bike week event parking rates are typically not confirmed until late April for the given year and are subject to change per MBR HOA Regulations.

Reservations include a one-time cleaning service to be preformed upon your departure. Daily or mid-week housekeeping service is available for a nominal fee by contacting Beach Rental Realty staff at 843-999-2570 9a-5p daily.

In lieu of paying a refundable security deposit, all standard guest reservations will be charged an Accidental Damage Waiver fee ($10.00 per day). This fee is non-refundable or transferable. 

The Popularity of The Myrtle Beach Resort during biker weeks has necessitated the implementation of a few policies created to accommodate our guests more comfortably.

    1. Cars & Trucks are limited to 2 per unit. 
    2. Bike week event parking rates are typically not confirmed until late April for the given year and are subject to change per MBR HOA Regulations.
    3. 2026 Parking/gate Entry Fees for all vehicles (including motorcycles) is $10 per day per vehicle. Trailers are permitted during official bike week events at a rate $15.00 per day.  
    4. Trailer size is limited to 18 feet or less from tongue to bumper. Should you be utilizing a larger trailer, please make arrangements for off-site parking prior to arrival as the resort will not make exceptions to this.
    5. Recreational vehicles, commercial trucks, and buses are not permitted per Myrtle Beach Resort HOA regulations.
      A. Recreational vehicles are defined as pull behind or self-propelled campers that provide living space. There's simply no room during these busy weeks.
      B. A commercial truck is defined as anything other than the standard sport utility vehicle or pickup truck whose primary usage is transporting passengers.
      C. Buses include any vehicle that provides seating for more than eight or whose utility is more closely related to a self propelled vehicle with living space.
    6. Golf Carts, Scooters, ATVs, Watercraft are not permitted per Myrtle Beach Resort HOA regulations.
    7. For 2026 Visitor Day passes will be available at $15 per day per pass at the discretion of the security staff. Visitor passes are only issued to those visiting a registered guest or owner. The resort does not sell day passes to the public.
    8. Gate Entry Fees & Parking Policies are established by MBR HOA and are subject to change without notice. Beach Rental Realty has no authority over parking or Gate Entry Fees.

Please note that Kings Highway is also known as US-17. Although directions are provided below - we recommend the use of a GPS or service such as Google Maps. Enter as The Myrtle Beach Resort, 5905 South Kings Highway, Myrtle Beach, SC 29575 to ensure you are headed to the correct Myrtle Beach resort.

Northern Points (New England, NY, NJ, PA, NC, VA): I-95 Southbound. Merge onto SC-38 East. SC-38 East becomes US-501. US-501 S becomes N US-501 Highway Bypass. Merge onto US-17 South. Take SC-544 East towards Surfside Beach/Garden City. Turn left onto US-17 Business (South Kings Highway). The Myrtle Beach Resort will be on your right.

Western Points (Nashville, Atlanta, Augusta, Columbia): I-20 East to I-95 North. Merge onto SC-327. Turn left onto US-301 N/SC-237 S/US-76 E. Continue to follow US-76 East. Stay straight to go onto SC-576 East. SC-576 East becomes US-501 South. Turn onto SC-544 toward Surfside Beach/Garden City. Turn left onto US-17 Business (Kings Highway) where SC-544 dead-ends at Ocean Lakes Campground. The Myrtle Beach Resort will be on your right (600-yards north of SC-544).

Southern Points (Jacksonville, Savannah, Miami): Take I-95 Northbound. Merge onto US-17 North via Exit 33 toward Charleston/Beaufort. Follow US-17 North towards Mt. Pleasant/Georgetown. Turn slight right onto Church St./US-17. Continue to follow US-17. Bear right at the US-17 split towards Garden City/Myrtle Beach (17 Bus.). Follow US-17/Kings Highway. The Myrtle Beach Resort will be on your right (600-yards north of Ocean Lakes Campground and SC-544).

Fireworks are strictly prohibited on resort property and are illegal on the beachfront per order of the Horry County Police Department.

Each condominium is privately owned, furnished and equipped according to the Owner's taste and requirements. The condition and furnishings of each condo may vary. All units are equipped with central air conditioning and heat, streaming devices for television, microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, iron and ironing board. Kitchen utensils, dinnerware and cookware are also provided.

Ice can be purchased at the ice machine located on the north side of the ocean front pool, at the Salty Bean Cafe located in the 1st floor of the Renaissance Tower on the beach side by the bag, across the street from the entrance to the resort at the Murphy's gas station or at the Walmart Neighborhood Market.

The South Carolina Coast experiences occasional stormy weather and power outages. There will be no refunds due to inclement weather, or power outages. To help protect your vacation investment Beach Rental Realty recommends the purchase of Vacation Protection Insurance on all reservations.

Free wireless Internet access is available throughout the resort.

Left items must be reported within 24-hours of departure. We will make every effort to locate lost items. Beach Rental Realty is not responsible for any personal items left behind. If you request us to pick up & mail personal items to you, if found, they will be mailed at your expense using a local shipping company, plus a $25.00 handling charge payable to Beach Rental Realty.

Short-term rentals include a one-time supply of linens and towels. Additional linens and towels can be rented for a nominal fee. Otherwise there are laundry facilities throughout the resort.

The Myrtle Beach Resort is located on the south-end of Myrtle Beach bordering Surfside Beach. We are approximately three miles to downtown Myrtle Beach and six miles to Broadway at the Beach.

Beach Rental Realty is not able to accept mail on behalf of guests or owners. We do not recommend short term renters have packages delivered during their stay. However, if you must have something delivered, please note the following:

1. Any packages must be addressed directly to your condo. The address should include guest name, street address, as well as the building letter & unit number. Packages will be left in the mail room located in the lobby & indoor pool area of Bldg B.

2. Any mail MUST be sent by either UPS or Fed-ex. US Postal Service does not deliver to the condos at all. They will only deliver to the leased mail boxes.

3. In the event you had a package delivered and can not locate it, check the mail room located in the lobby of Bldg. B. That is the only place packages can otherwise be left.

Long-term guests can secure post office boxes in advance of their arrival by calling the Ocean Spa B Bldg. Home Owners Association at (843) 839-1350 Monday through Friday.

BRR takes no responsibility for lost or stolen packages.

BRR managed properties are designated as non-smoking of ANY kind inside the condos as well as on the balconies or patios. This includes but is not limited to cigarettes, cigars, vaping, all CBD, ALL THC or marijuana products, or any illegal substances. We cannot guarantee that the property will be smoke free; however, we will make every effort to respect this request. Those found to have broken this rule will be heavily fined. They will also be charged for all costs related to smoking damages including but not limited to odor removal, deep cleaning of all linens, drapery, and furniture in the condo, repairs as a result of any burns, as well as any other smoke/vape related damages and cleaning. Those who choose to violate this rule may also be subject to ejection without refund.

Occupancy limits are based on fire codes, but may be reduced based bedding arrangements in each condo. All two and three bedroom units accommodate six people maximum. Studios and one bedroom units allow occupancy of four persons maximum.

The resort homeowners association does not permit pets of any kind on resort property. Our staff will be happy to recommend local kennels should you wish to bring your pet.

The Quarterdeck Beach Bar & Grill is open most of the year starting January 1st through mid - November. They offer discounted seasonal menus and activities for our winter renters. Enjoy live entertainment, cool drinks, great food & a fantastic view during the summer months. The Quarterdeck is located on the beachfront behind the Renaissance Tower. 

New York Pizza opened during the summer of 2025. Hours will vary seasonally. New York Pizza is located on the North side of Bldg. A (Lakewood side) at the ocean front building entrance.

Ocean Front Snack Shack is open during peak season and is located at the oceanfront pool located at Building A.

The Salty Bean Cafe opened during the summer of 2026. This is a cafe and coffee shop offering coffee, light breakfast and lunch fare. The Salty Bean Cafe also features a market that sells a variety of beach essentials and toys, gift items, and convenience items, as well as souvenirs.  Hours may vary seasonally but typically include breakfast and lunch hours.

Stella's Ice Cream, new to Myrtle Beach Resort in 2025, is now located at the lazy river water park snack bar. This is a seasonally operated ice and snack bar. Hours may vary according to season and weather.

We offer a 10% discount for senior citizens (55 or older) renting and occupying a condo during the off-season. This discount cannot be combined with any other offer or discount. Call our office at 843-999-2570 to get this discount as age verification is required.

The condos are all privately owned and do not have telephones.

The Grand Strand Myrtle Beach Area stretches 60-miles. Car rental is recommended for those guests flying to Myrtle Beach.

Vacation Protection Insurance can only be requested with initial deposit and is non-transferable. We are unable to provide this protection at a later time. Certain Restrictions Apply. To help protect your vacation investment, Beach Rental Realty recommends the purchase of Vacation Protection Insurance on all reservations through a third party, Red Sky Travel. Beach Rental is not liable for any claims, disputes, policies, refunds, restrictions etc. Red Sky Travel is the sole provider of Travel Protection Insurance and all questions, claims, etc. are handled directly by Red Sky Travel. Contact Red Sky Travel Protection directly toll free #: 1-866-889-7409. Cancellation of reservations inside 30 days of arrival not holding insurance will not receive refunds of any kind. Vacation Protection Insurance is not available on Monthly reservations, third party reservations, or any reservations booked inside 30 days of arrival.

The entire 33 acre Resort is located between the highway (Business 17) and the ocean. There are no public roads between any condos and the beach. The resort has Two Bedroom, One Bedroom, and Studio units available with varying views of the ocean. View designations are described below:

Ocean Front - Directly facing the beach/ocean.

Tower Ocean View - While on the side, the view of the ocean and beach is superior. These are located inside the Renaissance Tower.

Low Ocean View - Again, on the side but with an excellent view of the beach/ocean. These are located in low-rise buildings A & B.

Moderate Ocean View - aka Partial Ocean View - A side unit from which the ocean is visible but the view decreases as the distance from the beach increases. These are located in low-rise buildings A & B.

Park View - You cannot see the beach or ocean from your unit. These are located in low-rise buildings A & B as well the villas in the Five Seasons Center.

Some areas along the oceanfront will be part of beach nourishment projects performed by either Horry County or South Carolina state government agencies. Beach Nourishment programs are an essential part of maintaining the beautiful Atlantic coastlines of South Carolina including the 60 miles of the Grand Strand area beaches that run from the North Carolina state line to Pawleys Island Beaches.  These programs typically take place every few years for regular maintenance, or after a major beach erosion event such as a large storm. Beach Rental Realty, nor Myrtle Beach Resort HOAs, have any involvement, authority, or influence in the planning or work involved with these projects as the beaches belong to the state and the county, not the resorts. There is a possibility you may experience some inconvenience during this time while sections of the beach may be closed off. Typically they will rope off small areas at a time that they are actively working in and leave access to areas they are not working on for the public. You may have to temporarily walk around the roped off areas until they move on to the next section scheduled. No Refunds or relocations will be made as a result of beach nourishment. You may be able to find detailed information about any ongoing beach nourishment projects on the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce website. 

Homeowner FAQs

The Myrtle Beach Resort is a gated 33-acre Ocean Front Condominium Resort comprising four buildings and 997 privately owned vacation rental condos. It’s located at 5905 South Kings Highway, about two miles South of the Myrtle Beach City Limits.

The Myrtle Beach Resort boasts a long list of great family friendly amenities including 24 hour security, three lighted tennis courts, six swimming pools (two indoors), a 375-ft lazy river, Jacuzzis, steam baths, coin-operated guest laundry facilities, on-site food and beverage service, and over 700-ft of sandy beach!

Each Condo is fully furnished, including all major appliances - stove-full sized refrigerator - microwave - television – vacuum cleaner - and all necessary dinnerware and cookware, including small appliances - blenders, toasters, and coffee makers. Most have garbage disposals and dishwashers.

Property taxes are based on the value of the Condo, which is typically determined by the purchase price.

The Myrtle Beach Resort is outside the City Limits of Myrtle Beach in Horry County. However, Police and Fire Protection are provided by both the Myrtle Beach and Surfside Police and Fire Departments as well as the Horry County Departments.

Liability and content insurance coverage is the responsibility of the owner.

Each condo has its own central Heating and Air Conditioning system, which is the responsibility of the Homeowner.

Each Homeowner is responsible for his own Electric Bill. The amount of an Electric Bill depends on many factors including the size of the Condo and the weather. An average would be from $600 to $900 per year.

Rental Services are available through Beach Rental Realty for a percentage of Gross Rental Income and cleaning fee. There are no other charges to the Homeowner for the Rental Service. Cleaning, Linen Service, and Sales Taxes are the responsibility of the Guest. Rentals are disbursed to Homeowners monthly, all reservations are transparent to the owner through our owner portal.

The only remaining cost is, of course, maintenance of the Condo. This includes repair or replacements of items, including furniture, furnishings, fixtures, equipment, and house wares, which become broken, worn out, or missing. Beach Rental Realty will look after these problems and maintain condo inventory for renters.
